Explore our programs
ArtGym’s Art Therapy workshops help students build social, emotional, and mental health skills by linking each session’s personal development theme to creative art-making. Activities like collaborative painting use artistic expression to explore concepts such as teamwork, stress relief, and embracing new experiences in a supportive space.
Life Economics is a hands-on program of Adulting 101 workshops teaching practical life skills like financial literacy, budgeting, cooking, and job preparation. Students earn certifications as they build confidence and gain the knowledge needed for independent living and future success.
The Blooming Heirs program is designed to empower young women by nurturing personal growth, leadership skills, & confidence through mentorship and workshops. This program focuses on holistic development combining life skills, emotional intelligence, & community engagement to prepare participants for success.
The Spanwright Scholarship Program awards at least five diverse scholarships each year—including support for Blooming Heirs, academic achievement, and students making a difference—with one award specifically offering a semesterly stipend for college essentials. Last year, over $2,500 was raised, and this year’s fundraising goal is $10,000 to help even more students thrive.
What’s Going On!
Earlier this year we had our first Mental Health Mixer called “The Reset”. We focused on the weight of words & resetting our minds to launch into the new semester.
We Will be taking 5 of our Blooming Heirs to visit North Carolina A&T State University to do a college tour and to explore opportunities on campus! In partnership with Bentley Duvall, we plan to make our first college tour memorable & impactful! If you missed the last one, get ready and stay tuned for what’s next!
