ART GYM WORKSHOPS

1. Warm-Up & Wonder

Begin the session by unwinding through a gentle activity, such as an icebreaker or artistic meditation. This helps participants relax, center their minds, and prepare for creative engagement.

2. Build & Brush

Focus on learning and practicing a specific social-emotional or mental health skill tailored for that session. The skill is introduced and explored, then connected directly to the day’s chosen art form.

3. Cool Down & Create

Participants relieve stress and express themselves by actively creating art using the skill they just built. This hands-on artmaking serves as a therapeutic release and reinforces the session’s learning.
